IMEDEEN Prime RenewalTM - CLINICAL AND SCIENTIFIC STUDIES
CLINICAL STUDY ON IMEDEEN PRIME RENEWAL - STEPHENS & ASSOCIATES, DALLAS, TEXAS,
USA
In order to quantify the beneficial effects of Imedeen Prime Renewal, a double-blind,
placebo-controlled study was conducted by global research group, Stephens &
Associates. The study ran over a 6 month period and included 81 post-menopausal
women aged 45-65, 30% of who were also taking HRT [hormone replacement therapy]
. Thirty-eight participants received Imedeen Prime Renewal and 43 took a placebo.
The results of both the objective measurements by dermatologists and the self-assessment
by participants were significant. The report concluded that when taken twice daily
over a 6 month period Imedeen Prime Renewal visibly improves the appearance and
condition of post-menopausal skin and has been clinically and scientifically shown
to:
- Improve dermal density
- Improve laxity and sagging
- Reduce visibility of fine lines and wrinkles
- Reduce visibility of hyperpigmentation
- Improve the appearance of skin on hands and décolletage
66% of the women interviewed who experienced positive results said that their friends
and family had also commented on the improvements to their skin.
“My skin is softer, smoother and the dark circles under my eyes have improved.
My sister noticed. I would recommend them – I could see an improvement which surprises
me with anything nowadays.”.

SCIENTIFIC STUDY ON IMEDEEN PRIME RENEWAL – DR NICO SMIT AND DR STAN PAVEL –
LEIDEN UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTRE, THE NETHERLANDS
An in-vitro study was carried out on the ViTea® protection complex to assess the
increased defence against free radical damage. Skin fibroblasts were cultured under
standard conditions. One culture was treated with the ViTea® Complex, the other
was used as a control. Both cultures were irradiated in parallel with UV light.
Multiple methods were used to analyse the extent of oxidative damage on the skin
cells and measure the production of free radicals in both cultures.
The results show that the ViTea® complex minimises the amount of UV damage in skin
cells. It decreases the amount of free radicals produced in skin fibroblasts and
reduces the damage caused by UV radiation in essential building blocks such as lipids
and DNA.

SCIENTIFIC STUDY ON IMEDEEN PRIME RENEWAL – DR ODILE DAMOUR – LABORATORY FOR
SKIN SUBSTITUTES, LYON, FRANCE An in-vitro study was carried out to
measure the effects on the dermal and epidermal structure using fully developed
skin equivalents generated from skin fibroblasts volunteered by a 19 year old girl
and 49 year old post-menopausal woman. The skin equivalents were treated with the
Imedeen Prime Renewal active ingredients and a control group was cultured in parallel
without treatment.
Although both the young and the old skin equivalents showed that treatment with
Imedeen Prime Renewal improved the quality and structure of both the dermis and
epidermis versus the control cultures, the results for the aged skin equivalent
were much more impressive than those for the young skin and showed a greater increase
in dermal density, higher production levels of both collagen and elastin and an
improved epidermal structure. Moreover treatment with Imedeen Prime Renewal prolonged
the life span of both young and aged skin equivalents, clearly demonstrating the
anti-ageing effect of the active ingredients.
